The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol donated more than $200,000 to area non-profits on Tuesday, with the Bristol Humane Society receiving the largest donation.
According to a news release from the casino, the Bristol Humane Society was announced as the winner of a $100,000 donation.
“We’re honored to be receiving such an incredible donation,” Jennifer McCall, CEO of the Bristol Humane Society, stated in the release. “Being recognized by Hard Rock, whose team members invest so much with their time and resources to make our community a better place, is truly meaningful. This donation will give a huge boost to Bristol Humane Society’s mission to provide low-cost veterinarian care to even more pets across our region.”
