Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol presented donation checks to three local organizations Tuesday afternoon to support their missions. The Bristol YMCA, Boys & Girls Club of the Mountain Empire and Tri-Cities Champions all received funding.
According to Hard Rock, the Boys & Girls Club received $17,697.46, the Bristol YMCA will see $17,697.46 and Tri-Cities Champions is receiving $15,129.96.
Community Outreach Manager for Hard Rock Bristol, Michele Rodriguez, told News Channel 11 that the majority of the donation money came from team member fundraising efforts, and the rest from guest donations.
“Two were from our team member dining room proceeds, all team member-donated, and then one was from our slot ticket boxes, which are all guest-donated proceeds,” she said.
