The new operators of an Aberdeen casino have held a ‘Las Vegas’ re-opening for the venue.
Guests at Rainbow Casino on Summer Street, now known as MERKUR Casino, on Friday night were treated to a headline performance by Celtic rock tribute band, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers as well as free champagne at the glitzy event…
Mark Schertle, chief operating officer for MERKUR Casino UK, said: “It’s a major milestone for us to open our first casino venue in the UK and what better place to choose than Aberdeen. We’ve worked hard to transform the venue and the early indication is that it is has been very well received by customers new and old.”
