The Taunton Casino will soon be open until 2 a.m. every day of the week.
“Starting on July 28, the Casino will be open 7 days per week with extended hours from 10 a.m. – 2 a.m. daily,” said a written statement from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, which owns the casino, located at 1 O’Connell Way.
Previously, the latest the Taunton casino had been open was midnight.
In the seven months since the gaming facility opened its doors, it has, step by step, greatly expanded its hours and the number of slot machines and obtained a liquor license. The tribe as also gone from calling it a “Welcome Center” to a “Casino” in its written statements.
