Tipwin has achieved a major commercial objective in 2025 modernising completing the modernization of Merkur betting shops in Germany in record time and ahead of all corporate expectations.
The partnership, launched at the start of 2025, saw Merkur Bets appoint Tipwin to overhaul and expand its nationwide network of betting shops. The objective was to bring every retail site under one unified identity of “Merkur Bets powered by Tipwin” — combining Merkur’s consumer trust with Tipwin’s retail systems and operational technology.
Today, more than 90% of Merkur’s retail locations have been upgraded, creating one of the most integrated and technologically advanced sports betting networks in Germany. The modernization has spanned several Bundesländer, including North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, Lower Saxony and Bavaria, with further upgrades planned through 2026.
