If you were banking that the Mattress Mack movie wasn’t happening, that’s a bet you would’ve lost.
After missing its initial 2024 release date, a film based on the life of Houston mattress tycoon and one-time election skeptic Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale appears to be back on track. On Tuesday, Deadline exclusively reported that the film will be titled Mattress Mack and is set to begin production in Texas this month. Billy Magnussen, the actor and producer who appeared in the live action Lilo & Stitch remake, is set to star alongside Glee luminary Dianna Agron, Darby Lee-Stack of The Holdovers and Rob Corddry.
