Charity organizations in Bristol received a helping hand from the employees of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino during the casino’s Week of Caring. The initiative has employees volunteering at various organizations, performing tasks such as fixing things and assisting with other chores.
At Abuse Alternatives in Bristol, Tennessee, volunteers are pressure washing, touching up paint, and planting new flowers. The volunteers expressed that helping the local community is a rewarding experience.
“We’ve got a few things lined up this week. Today, Tuesday, being Abuse Alternative. We’re also at the Boys and Girls Club this week. I do believe we’re doing a canned food drive as well. So, definitely a busy, busy week for us,” said Trevor Reed from Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Bristol.
The Week of Caring is an event where businesses volunteer to support the United Way and the charity organizations they assist in the community.
