Svenska Spel reported year-on-year growth across net gaming revenue and net profit during its 2025 financial year despite the shutdown of its land-based casino segment following the closure of the final Casino Cosmopol venue in Q2.

Net gaming revenue during the 12 months through to 31 December 2025 amounted to SEK7.69 billion ($848.1 million). This was 2% more than the previous financial year, figures from Svenska Spel showed.

Aside from revenue growth, the group saw operating profit increase 10% to SEK2.54 billion, while net profit was 11% higher year-on-year at SEK1.96 billion.

Financial growth came in a year when Svenska Spel officially shuttered its land-based casinos business. This had been in the works for a while, with several venues having shut in previous years.
