The Strip’s longest-running LGBTQ+ pool party will go on hiatus this summer as construction continues at its host casino’s pool complex.

Temptation Sundays at Luxor hotel-casino will not take place in 2026 because of the ongoing pool renovation project, according to parent company MGM Resorts International. A company spokesperson said the weekly event will return in 2027.

The remodel of the resort’s pool complex began in December, when Clark County issued a demolition permit. A commercial grading permit application was submitted the following month.

MGM Resorts said it is replacing the south pool at Luxor with a new one that will provide additional deck space.
