As slot tournament popularity is on the rise, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut created a new Sky Slot Tournament Zone.
During slot tournaments, participants are randomly assigned to slot machines and are given unlimited spins for a certain amount of time. Players win points as they hit winning combinations or bonuses on the reels and the more spins completed within the set time, the greater the chances are to enhance the total score.
The scores for all the rounds of tournament play are totaled to determine the overall tournament rankings.
The new slot zone has more than 40 slot machines and all of them are IGT games, including Wheel of Fortune, Hex Breaker, Cleopatra and Stinkin’ Rich.
