The Dakota Dunes Casino is celebrating the grand opening of an expansion to its casino space. The casino hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon to celebrate over 11,000 feet of new gaming space in a new Smoking Room.
The expansion is the first phase of several planned upgrades at the casino to be rolled out over the next year.
“It’s great to see this project moving forward,” said STC Tribal Chief Mark Arcand.
“This expansion of the Dakota Dunes Casino is timely as we construct the Dakota Dunes Thermal Spa on the resort side of the property.” said Whitecap Dakota Chief Darcy Bear.
