To draw from the rock classic, the “Van Hagar” period of Sammy Hagar’s career is still on top of the world. Bring up retirement, he says he’s sort of there already.
“When people ask me when I’m going to retire. I simply say this is retirement doing the residency makes it so much easier than being on the road,” Hagar says. “I feel like I could do this for the rest of my life and isn’t retirement doing what you want to do for the rest of your life?”
