Three Massachusetts residents are facing charges after they allegedly lured a man from the floor of Bally’s Hotel Casino in Rhode Island to a hotel room and then robbed him at knifepoint.
Police in Lincoln, Rhode Island, said they responded to a reported robbery at the casino around 1:43 a.m. on Monday. Their investigation determined that two women had conspired to lure a male victim from the casino floor to a hotel room. Once inside the hotel room, the victim was confronted by a man who threatened him with a knife and robbed him of over $1,500 in cash.
After the incident, the victim was allowed to leave and was instructed not to contact authorities.
