Even though Las Vegas won’t host any games for the 2026 World Cup soccer tournament this year, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is pitching the city’s resorts as an ideal place to watch the competition.
“As excitement builds for this summer’s global soccer tournament, Las Vegas is ready to welcome fans with experiences only the ‘Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World’ can deliver,” an LVCVA representative said.
The first games of the tournament that will bring soccer teams to stadiums across Canada, Mexico and the United States will be June 11 and 12, but many of the deals offered by Las Vegas resorts will extend beyond the five-week duration of the World Cup.
