The Atlantis Casino has launched a new initiative to combat food waste by donating leftover food from Toucan Charlie’s buffet to the Eddy House, a local organization supporting homeless teens. This partnership will provide 18,000 meals, ensuring dinner for more than 50 teens each night.

The Eddy House previously managed to prepare meals for 20 teens daily, but as demand increased, the task became overwhelming for volunteers. The new collaboration not only reduces food waste but also guarantees that teens receive healthy and nutritious meals.

“The food that the Atlantis provides to our youth is so fun for them, there’s so much variety…” said Jillian Keller, chief operating officer for Eddy House.
