Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has warned that igaming is causing serious harm to Filipino families, particularly through digital platforms, when accessed irresponsibly.
The president said in his latest vlog posted on social media, “many families are being destroyed by it (igaming), especially if it is used irresponsibly.”
While praising digitalization’s role in improving government services and boosting sectors like healthcare and education, the president also highlighted its misuse for scams, misinformation, and gambling.
