U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Leeson Jr. on Thursday granted preliminary approval of the settlement. The court will conduct a final approval hearing on Sept. 8 to “determine the overall fairness of the settlement” and to approve attorneys’ fees and costs.

The approval resolves a lawsuit filed March 24, 2020, by a Hellertown man who was employed as a table games dealer at the Bethlehem casino from August 2018 until October 2019.
