Pennsylvania State Police have charged an employee at Hollywood Casino Penn National Race Course with stealing more than $700,000 from the casino.

Jennifer Petrillo, 53, formerly of Palmyra and now living in Manheim, was charged on March 11 after a nearly year-long investigation by authorities.

She is accused of diverting a total of $727,446.65 to herself, using fake accounts entered in the company’s bookkeeping system.

Petrillo was employed as a part-time Horse Racing bookkeeper at the time the alleged thefts occurred, police claim.
