Several supporters spoke in favor of a license renewal for Hollywood Casino York during a public hearing on Thursday, Oct. 30 in Springettsbury Township.
Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, LLC, which operates Hollywood Casino York at the York Galleria, is seeking its first license renewal for the gaming operation. The casino opened to the public in August of 2021 in the former Sears store at the mall.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board hearing at the Springettsbury Township municipal building involved presentations from both Hollywood Casino York and the Office of Enforcement Council as well as a period of public comment.
