A manager at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh is facing felony theft charges after being accused of stealing $20,000 from the main bank at the cashiers cage, according to news reports.
Yancy Yeater, 41, of Canonsburg, a Player Services Manager at the casino, was captured on surveillance video just after 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 cleaning the inside of the main bank cabinet of the cashiers cage where the money is stored.
The cashiers cage is the center of commerce at casinos, and where players can get money, casino chips, credit clips and other paperwork, WPXI reported.
While Yeater was cleaning and organizing the cash, he put two bands of $100 bills under a cleaning rag and took them to a restroom, hid them on himself and then left the property, both WTAE and WPXI reported.
