The opening of the new casino in Cabourg in the Calvados region of France is getting closer. The building is expected to be handed over to the Partouche group by the end of April, allowing the development work to begin before the grand opening of the establishment, scheduled for December.
The construction, which required the city to borrow €9.6m in 2024, is located on an 11,000 m² site, very close to the city’s aquatic center and Garden Tennis Center, including a 2,000 m² area for the casino. The site will also include a 146-space parking lot and a landscaped area.
To cover the construction costs, the city increased the casino’s rent from €100,000 to €580,000 when the public service delegation was renewed in 2022.
