Philippines licensed casinos generated gross gaming revenues of Php44.8 billion (US$781 million) in the three months to 30 September 2022, 106% higher year-on-year and slightly improved on the Php42.1 billion (US$735 million) recorded in 2Q22, according to information released by PAGCOR.

While the gaming regulator did not break down GGR between Manila’s Entertainment City casinos and those in Clark, it did reveal that total GGR from licensed casinos for first nine months of 2022 had reached Php117.0 billion (US$2.04 billion) – already far in excess of the Php88.4 billion (US$1.54 billion) generated through all of 2021.

The 2021 figure had included Php78.9 billion (US$1.38 billion) from Entertainment City casinos and Php8.8 billion (US$154 million) from Clark.
