I don’t know whether to support the idea of a casino near Moorhead or not. The discussion and debate has just started and I don’t have enough information. Nobody does, although that hasn’t stopped plenty of folks from stepping up to loudly denounce a project that so far is just a concept with few set-in-stone details.
There has been brief portions of three governmental board meetings set aside for the White Earth Band of the Minnesota Chippewa to make a preliminary presentation of their plans and ask for support, followed by questions from elected officials and some comments from interested citizens … and that’s been it.
