Sal Lupoli and Joe Faro met up on Wednesday, somewhere between the Apple store and the Macy’s, in the Mall at Rockingham Park.
No, these best buddies and business partners weren’t hanging out to go shopping. Instead, they were there to cut a thick orange ribbon to celebrate their latest bet: the opening of their first casino venture together, in Salem, N.H. Among those who joined them at the Simon Property Group-owned mall were “Sopranos” actor Steve Schirripa and the president of Cordish Gaming Group, Rob Norton.
This week, hundreds of people visited the casino that Lupoli and Faro opened in a partnership with Cordish, the Baltimore-based hospitality company, inside a former Lord & Taylor store.
