Casino Rama is rolling the dice on a refresh of a foodie’s favourite that has topped the facility’s menu since Day 1.
St. Germain’s, named after late Rama First Nation chief George St. Germain – who dreamed of his community building the casino in the 1980s – is becoming Atlas Steak and Fish at St. Germain’s. It will open Thursday.
Since October, the restaurant has only been operating on the weekends as staff prepare for the grand unveiling.
“It is our signature steak and seafood restaurant that we have out West. This will be the first Ontario location, which is really exciting for us. It’s our spin on the traditional North American steakhouse,” said Tanya Gabara, director of public relations for Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, which operates the casino east of Orillia.
