Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises opened its newest casino and hotel in Coweta on Monday.
The location is right in the middle of its casinos in Muskogee and Tulsa.
The casino was set to open at 10 a.m. Monday morning, but with a line building at 8, it triggered an early start to the day.
A chance to win big drew in a big crowd for the casino’s opening day. The new space features a raised bar in the center.
“It is buzzing. Everybody’s excited about the casino,” Coweta Mayor Naomi Hogue said.
Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises CEO Pat Crofts said the $100 million casino and hotel offers nearly 50 rooms and 750 new gaming machines.
