New York: Turning Stone casino offering subsidized employee housing in bid to attract workers

In this case, “west” may be about 90 minutes away on the Thruway [from Albany] where Turning Stone Resort Casino is offering employee-subsidized housing with rents as low as $ 550 per month to cooks, chefs, table game dealers and other hospitality workers who want to work at the facility.

And, in a sign of how competitive the job market for employees has become, Turning Stone hiring managers will be in Albany on Aug. 23 to recruit new employees.

Qualified applicants will get job offers on the spot.
