All three remaining casino proposals were recommended for approval after the New York Gaming Facility Location Board handed down its decision earlier Monday.

The board cited the economic benefits of the casino projects, and the state’s Gaming Commission is expected to issue the final licenses by Dec. 31.

Vicki Been, chair of the Gaming Facility Location Board and former deputy mayor of housing and economic development under Mayor Bill de Blasio, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Monday to break down what this means and more.

“I think it was definitely easier. That said, we paid really close attention to every single thing that was promised by those three…” she said.
