Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel announced Thursday it plans to open its doors to the public at 9 a.m. on April 1.
“We now feel confident that we have met the difficult challenge of creating a safe business environment while safeguarding the public trust we have worked hard to earn over the last three decades,” Tamaya Enterprises Board of Directors Chairwoman Melanie Martinez said in a prepared statement. “Simply put, we want to do the right thing.”
As it reopens, the casino will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m., Sunday through Saturday at a limited capacity. The facility remains smoke-free throughout the property with a designated outdoor smoking area.
