The Terre Haute Regional Airport has received a grant from the Terre Haute Casino Resort Foundation.

The $250,000 grant will be used to construct a new hangar. This project is part of a continued partnership with the West Central Indiana Aviation Academy. It aims to expand training by providing hands-on experiences.

“And that’ll allow us to put aircraft, engines, test equipment, and all those things that the kids are going to need to actually get their certification as they move forward as A and P mechanics, and that’s airframe and power plant mechanics,” Craig Maschino of the Terre Haute Regional Airport said.
