Whiskey Pete’s has received a waiver allowing one of Primm’s three casino-hotels to remain closed for up to three years.

Clark County commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved a licensing waiver for Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino.

That means the casino can remain closed for up to two years, backdated to Dec. 18, 2024. The county’s business licensing department also has the authority to issue two additional six-month extensions.

Affinity Gaming owns Whiskey Pete’s and Primm’s other two casinos, Primm Valley Resort and Buffalo Bill’s

In a letter to the county, Affinity said business in the state line community has largely dried up on weekdays.
