The sale of a longtime casino north of Reno has been finalized.
Hobey’s Casino in Sun Valley sold for $19 million to Sun Valley Land Co. LLC, according to a filing with the Washoe County Recorder. The filing was recorded Dec. 19.
Although Carson Valley Inn is not listed in the filing, state records for Sun Valley Land list an executive with the Minden casino as its registered agent as well as the Carson Valley Inn’s address.
Hobey’s Casino celebrated its 35th anniversary last year. A message on the Hobey’s Casino website states that a “new website is coming soon” for the 24-hour casino.
