Since Nebraska’s first casino opened in 2022, industry revenue has increased each year.

That story was no different in 2025, as Nebraska’s five casinos increased revenue by more than $100 million year-over-year.

Across locations in Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Columbus and Ogallala, the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission reported that a combined $261 million was brought in during 2025.

That far surpasses the $145 million raked in by the locations in 2024 and nearly triples the total profits from 2023.

“We have seen so much growth since 2022 that every year we have either opened a new facility or opened different phases,” Casey Ricketts, the executive director of the commission, said. “So you’re just going to continue to see our numbers grow that way.”
