For months, and really for about a year, the folks at Glacier Peaks Casino have been working with the Tribal Business Council, Incident Command, Blackfeet Revenue, Blackfeet Gaming Commission and the Centers for Disease Control to develop a plan for reopening the popular Browning destination.
“There’s been a lot of behind the scenes work,” Marketing Manager Jostin Lawrence said. “We’ve been in a hiring frenzy since we got the okay. Human Resources is going through all the applications and training the employees in what to expect.”
Indeed, the casino was employing 32 folks to keep things running, but now there are approximately 120 people working around a 12-hour day.
