Little River Casino Resort has started a months-long renovation project. An announcement described the goal as a “brighter, bolder and more action-packed” guest experience.
Construction began Sept. 2, according to a video on the resort’s Facebook page. The project includes a redesigned gaming floor, a new smoking room and a restaurant called The Heron.
The gaming floor will feature a modern layout, new carpeting, integrated lighting and additional slot machines. The cashier area is also being remodeled, and the new smoking gaming room will include its own bank of machines with improved ventilation, according to the resort.
The phased timeline calls for The Heron to open Dec. 15.
