Nik Wallenda has walked tightropes across the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and Times Square.
On Aug. 16, the self-proclaimed ‘King of the High Wire’ will visit Battle Creek to celebrate the grand opening of FireKeepers Casino Hotel’s second tower by walking a 400-foot wire between the existing tower and the new structure, 200 feet in the air.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nik Wallenda to FireKeepers, and can think of no better way to signify our moving forward than with his aerial adventure across our towers,” FireKeepers Casino Hotel CEO Kathy George said in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming guests to watch this awesome feat, and to experience the new expansion.”
