A casino gaming company is shutting down a Michigan facility, leading to a layoff of nearly 100 employees.
On Feb. 25, LNW Gaming, Inc. announced plans to lay off 92 employees due to the closure of its facility at 22630 Haggerty Road in Farmington Hills. The layoffs will begin on April 27, according to a notice the company filed through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.
Laid off workers range from positions including managers, trainers and supervisors. Entry operators and game show presenters were the positions most impacted, with 54 employees affected.
The affected employees are not represented by a union. Additionally, there are no bumping rights for any employees, according to the notice.
