Officials with the Island Resort & Casino, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula’s leading golf, casino, and resort destination, announced on Wednesday the plans for a $19 million dollar expansion.
According to a release, the $19 million dollar expansion will be highlighted by a new nine-hole golf course, a new golf shop, and an expansion to its 16,900 square-foot convention center.
Officials say the new nine-hole golf course, named the Cedar Course (Kishki), will be on the Sage Run Golf Course site and will be designed by Paul Albanese who also designed courses like Sweetgrass and Sage Run.
