An expansion project at Bay Mills Resort & Casino has broken ground.
Last Wednesday, members of the Bay Mills Executive Council and Enterprise Team held a ceremony in Brimley to begin the expansion project for the casino and resort.
The expansion will be finished in the fall of 2025. Originally, it was to be completed in 2024.
The Bay Mills Indian Community put on the ceremony alongside Bay Mills Resort & Casino to symbolize the start of a new chapter for both parties.
“We are so excited to celebrate the hard work and innovation that has culminated in this historic investment, for your support, your enthusiasm, and your trust have fueled our ambition to reach new heights, and for that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Bay Mills Tribal President Whitney Gravelle penned to supporters of the project.”
