The long-awaited second hotel tower has been two years in the making following delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, including worker shortages and supply chain issues.

The second tower opened with 203 rooms, a high-limit gaming space and a lobby bar. It is also the new site of the property’s signature restaurant, Nibi, as part of the 39,000-square-foot first level. The hotel additionally added another Gapi coffee and sweets location to the main lobby.

FireKeepers opened its $300 million casino in Emmett Township in 2009 before adding a 243-room hotel in 2012. The costs to build the hotel towers were not shared.
