The widely popular hotel partnership between MGM Resorts and Hyatt is coming to an end on Sept. 30, 2023.
The partnership between MGM Rewards and World Of Hyatt was popular because it was one of the few rewards programs between a worldwide hotel chain and Las Vegas casino operator that offered similar benefits.
This announcement comes as Rio Las Vegas will become a Hyatt hotels property when new owners take over the casino hotel during the fourth quarter of this year. Details about plans for Rio are sparse but are slowly becoming more clear.
Dreamscape, the incoming ownership group of Rio, appeared before the Nevada Gaming Control Board this week. Hyatt will begin operating the hotel on Oct. 1, 2023.
