Merkur Spielbanken NRW officially celebrated the start of a new Merkur Casino construction project in Siegburg with a groundbreaking ceremony in the presence of prominent guests from politics, business and urban society.
The casino is being built on an area of more than 1,600 square metres, as a modern entertainment and play paradise, opening in the Siegburg industrial park by autumn 2026. The company is investing around €35m in the new casino, which will not only create a new leisure offer for the region, but will also provide an important economic impetus for the entire region.
“The construction of Merkur Spielbank Siegburg is an important milestone for our company and the opening next year is another chapter in the success story of Merkur Spielbanken…” said David Schnabel, CEO of Merkur Group’s casinos.
