The resort’s meetings and events marketing organization is getting a new look.
The entity will now be known as Visit Atlantic City, as reflected by a revised website, visitatlanticcity.com. The group was previously known as Meet AC.
The nonprofit, founded in June 2014, was created as a public-private partnership by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority to create economic development through conventions, sporting events, film production and group tourism.
Larry Sieg, the organization’s president and CEO, said the rebrand was made to better coincide with the resort’s efforts to reinvent itself as a “safer, culturally rich and sustainable community.”
