New figures from the Clark County Department of Aviation show flyer numbers were up from May, when there were about 3.5 million people departing and arriving.

June was the first month in Nevada without any COVID-related capacity restrictions in effect. The passenger total is still below pre-pandemic levels, however. There were more than 4.4 million flyers in June 2019. There were 15.9 million passengers through the first six months of 2021, down nearly 37% from the same period in 2019, when 25.2 million passengers were recorded.

International travel still remains soft due to restrictions over cross-border travel with other countries.
