MGM Springfield told state regulators that it took in $25.4 million in gross gambling revenue from slots and table games in the month of May. That’s up from the $23.5 million it reported for April 2025 and the $22.4 million a year ago in May 2024.
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission said Friday that Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor — the state’s three gambling establishments — generated approximately $105.36 million in gross gambling revenue in May.
Additionally, the state’s seven mobile or online sports wagering companies and three in-person sports books generated approximately $80.73 million in taxable sports wagering revenue last month.
The in-person sports book at MGM Springfield had a handle (the total amount bet) of $1.4 million.
