Table game and slot machine revenue at MGM Springfield continues to outpace the casino’s revenue from last year, despite the added competition of online and mobile sports betting.
MGM Springfield reported $23.7 million in gross slot and table gambling revenue for April compared with $22.5 million a year ago in April 2022, according to figures released Monday by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
Gross gambling revenue from table games and slots was $24 million in March and $23.2 million in February. Gambling revenue tends to vary seasonally.
March was the second busiest month in MGM Springfield’s nearly five-year history. March 2022 and March 2023 were the only times MGM Springfield’s revenues have topped $24 million.
