Live horse racing at Plainridge Park Casino could come to an end if the Massachusetts Gaming Commission doesn’t extend its current license. Right now, there are live races every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from April to November…
The current racing license is only good for one year, but the casino has filed a request to renew its license. The public was given a chance to weigh in at a town hall meeting on Monday.
“We actually intend to be good listeners today so that we can understand the community’s position with respect to the proposal,” said Cathy Judd-Stein, chairwoman of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
