Maryland casinos generate $163M in April revenue, down slightly vs. 2023

Maryland’s six casinos generated roughly $163.2 million in revenue from table games and slot machines alone in April of this year, a decrease of about $11.6 million compared to last year.

All of Maryland’s privately owned casinos provided impressive revenue gain last month, though all but one saw a decrease in revenue when compared this year compared to April 2023.

Combined, gaming contributions to the state totaled $69,799,072, a decrease of roughly $2.58 million dollars.

Hollywood Casino in Cecil County, saw a six percent growth in revenue when comparing April 2024 to April 2023, according to officials. They finished out the month with roughly $7.93 million dollars acquired from its 711 slot machines and 23 table games.
