MGM Cotai – the Cotai integrated resort operated by MGM China – has just been locked down.
Government health workers are currently on the scene after a positive COVID-19 case was identified on site. The case in question is a 43-year-old female dealer who worked on October 26 and 27, the government has confirmed. It has also been revealed that the woman’s two sons tested positive this morning.
IAG is on the scene and has verified that MGM Cotai is now locked down with no-one allowed to enter or exit the building.
It has been confirmed that the casino, hotel, restaurants and shops have now all been closed and all gatherings at the hotel suspended.
