The Chairman of the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) and Area Vice President – Macau Operations for Artyzen Hospitality Group, Rutger Verschuren, has been bestowed the title and rank of “Chevalier de I’Ordre National du Mérite” – or Knight of the National Order of Merit – by the President of the French Republic.
The honor – bestowed during a ceremony at Artyzen Grand Lapa’s Vasco Lounge – is in recognition of Verschuren’s continuous support to the establishment of friendly links between France and Macau and his pivotal role in fostering France-Macau economical exchanges by leading the France Macau Chamber of Commerce and serving its community, the FMCC said.
